On Thursday, October 12, 2023, S.S. Lazio Teqball held its inaugural session at Liceo Scientifico Plinio Seniore High School, introducing Teqball and its various disciplines to students across all grades, as well as teachers, coaches, and sports staff. This initiative aligns with the European Union’s HealthyLifestyle4All campaign, aiming to promote physical activity and well-being among youth.

To enhance the learning experience, Lazio Teqball invited a nutritionist to conduct a workshop on physical and nutritional well-being, emphasizing the importance of a balanced diet and healthy habits. Meanwhile, the Teqball team provided an engaging overview of the sport’s history and rules, sparking enthusiasm among the students.

The positive response from the students has already led to the scheduling of the next practical session, set for November 9th.

Andrea Paolini, President of S.S. Lazio Teqball, expressed his excitement: “Today we were able to introduce five new sports to the students of Liceo Scientifico Plinio. Through the EU Teq Games project, co-funded by the European Union and in collaboration with Olympiacos SFP, Levski SFA, Aalborg, Feyenoord, HASK Mladost, and EMCA, we promote gender equality as well as physical activity and healthy lifestyles. The enthusiasm from both students and teachers for this new sport and the versatile use of the Teqtable is inspiring. We hope to make a positive impact on these students.”

This session marks a significant step in the EU Teq Games project, reinforcing the commitment to fostering inclusivity and encouraging active, healthy lifestyles among the younger generation.
