Celebrating Success: EU Teq Games Open Days Engage Over 1,200 Participants
As part of the EU Teq Games project, coordinated by the European Multisport Club Association (EMCA), each partner club hosted an Open Day, inviting children and adults of all ages, genders, and abilities to explore the various games that can be played on a Teq Table.
The partner clubs included:
- Aalborg (Denmark)
- Feyenoord (Netherlands)
- HASK Mladost (Croatia)
- Lazio Teqball (Italy)
- Levski Sport for All (Bulgaria)
- Olympiacos (Greece)
These Open Days were a resounding success, with over 1,224 participants joining in the fun. Events took place at various schools, club sporting facilities, and even in vibrant outdoor squares. Teqball was the main sport featured, garnering particularly high interest from boys, while girls expressed enthusiasm for trying out Teqvoly.
In addition to the sporting activities, the Open Days promoted healthy living through guidelines and workshops focused on nutritious food and hydration. These initiatives helped instill the importance of a balanced lifestyle among participants.
The Open Days served as an excellent opportunity for clubs to encourage more people, especially children, to register for training sessions and to engage in the sport. This initiative is aimed at fostering participation in the upcoming EURO Teq Games.
