On Friday, October 18, the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus hosted a specialized Teqball seminar aimed at coaches to refresh their knowledge on the rules of Teqball as well as to assist the coaches with obtaining their second level certification. This workshop was successfully held as part of the lead-up to the first EURO Teq Games Tournament. Organized by the amateur division of Olympiacos under the auspices of the Municipality of Piraeus, this workshop provided an invaluable opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of modern coaching techniques and practices in a sport that is rapidly gaining traction on an international level.

The seminar featured international FiTeq referee Telmo Modeiro, who led the sessions with expertise and enthusiasm. Coaches and professionals from Greece and abroad attended the event, including representatives from Erasmus+ program partners. A notable highlight was the participation of Mesagros High School from Aegina, which brought 20 enthusiastic athletes, teachers, and the school principal to join in the learning experience

During the workshop, participants were trained in the basic principles and strategies of Teqball, with a particular focus on preparing for the second-level coaching certification offered by FiTeq. The session fostered a collaborative learning environment, encouraging coaches to share their experiences and insights.

Following the successful completion of the Teqball seminar, we had the opportunity to interview the coaches who participated in the event. The coaches expressed their excitement about the organization of the seminar and the new techniques they learned. They highlighted the potential of Teqball as a sport and its evolution on an international level. Many were eager to apply their newfound knowledge to their athletes, emphasizing how the insights gained from the workshop will enhance their coaching strategies and ultimately benefit the players they train.
