About project
Taking Your Game to the Next Level
The EU TeqGames project aims to promote healthy lifestyles, physical activity, and gender equality in sports through the introduction of teqball. As a post-COVID recovery initiative, teqball is an inclusive sport suitable for all ages, genders, and abilities. Using a curved Teqtable, the project not only focuses on teqball but also encourages the practice of various multisport disciplines, including Teqvoly, Teqpong, Teqis, and Qatch.
With a commitment to inclusivity, our project provides online coaching and certification for sports clubs, ensuring coaches are equipped with the knowledge to teach teqball effectively. The initiative also features the annual “EURO TEQ GAMES,” fostering community engagement and promoting a strong European identity.

Main goals of the project
The EU TeqGames project aims to elevate the visibility and popularity of teqball and its variants as an innovative sport within the European sporting community. By hosting the annual “EURO TEQ GAMES” and offering online coaching courses, we seek to create a strong foundation for teqball as a mainstream sport. Our goal is to engage a diverse audience, fostering enthusiasm and participation in teqball, ultimately establishing it as a recognized sport across Europe.
The EU TeqGames project aims to combat the sedentary lifestyle crisis exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. By promoting teqball and its variants, we will encourage active participation in sports among individuals of all ages, genders, and abilities. Our objective is to engage at least 805 participants across partner clubs, creating new opportunities for those who may not have previously had access to diverse sports experiences.
Our project is committed to enhancing inclusivity in sports, particularly for individuals with disabilities and underrepresented groups. By offering teqsports, we provide a platform for participants to choose from various activities tailored to their abilities. We will ensure that at least 35 individuals with disabilities are involved in the project, and teams will consist of 50% female athletes, promoting gender equality in all competitions.
The EU TeqGames project recognizes the critical need for promoting healthy lifestyles, especially in light of rising obesity rates and sedentary behaviors. Through nutritional workshops and awareness-raising activities, we aim to educate participants about healthy eating habits and the importance of physical activity. Our objective is to reach a minimum of 700 participants across these workshops, equipping them with the knowledge to lead healthier lives and make informed dietary choices.
MEET ALL OF THE TEQ SPORTS
Three essential steps of the project
Select coaches from participating clubs who will take part in the online coaching sessions and certification. Concurrently, translate training materials into the eight languages of the partner clubs, ensuring accessibility for all participants.
Conduct online coaching and certification courses to equip selected coaches with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively teach teqball and its variants. This phase will establish a strong foundation for the implementation of teqsports across partner clubs.
Organize awareness-raising open days at partner clubs or outdoor venues to encourage community participation. These events will be free of charge, allowing club members, their families, friends, and the general public to experience teqball and other teqsports firsthand.
After the open days, partner clubs will form Teq teams that will train together at no cost during the project duration. These teams will receive focused training in preparation for the EU Teq Games, fostering team spirit and skill development.
Teq teams from the partner clubs will compete in the EU Teq Games in Malta and Italy, participating in various tournament formats. A final meeting will be held during the tournament to discuss project outcomes, gather feedback, and collect best practices for future implementation.
