At the end of 2023, an online workshop for coaches was successfully organized in collaboration with FITEQ Education, marking a significant milestone in the EU TeqGames project. Led by a specialized FITEQ representative, the workshop provided an engaging platform for 25 participants to enhance their understanding of Teqball through video materials and interactive discussions. Coaches had the opportunity to ask questions and gain insights from an expert in the field, while also receiving written materials and learning tips tailored to Teqball.
This initiative aims to increase knowledge about Teqball from a transnational perspective, ensuring that coaches from partner sports clubs are well-versed in the rules of the game. Upon completion, participants will be certified according to FITEQ standards, aligning their training with international best practices.
The workshop not only facilitated comprehensive training but also served as a valuable resource for future reference, as it was recorded for subsequent use. This allows the materials and insights shared during the session to be reused in future training initiatives, providing lasting value to the project.
By investing in coach education, the EU TeqGames project is committed to ensuring standardized and high-quality Teqball instruction across all partner clubs. The certification process according to FITEQ standards guarantees that all coaches will possess consistent and high-quality knowledge, which is essential for the ongoing development and popularization of Teqball in Europe.
