As part of the second EU TeqGames tournament held in Rome from April 4 to 6, 2025, we kicked things off with a coaches workshop, a great way to set the tone for a weekend full of sport, learning, and connection.

Led by FITEQ referees, the workshop brought together coaches, team leaders, and even a few athletes who wanted to brush up on the rules. But it wasn’t just for insiders, the session was open to the public, giving anyone curious about Teqball a chance to come in, ask questions, and learn what this growing sport is all about.

Throughout the session, participants covered:

• how the official rules work (and what often goes wrong)
• how to apply those rules in real matches
• how to coach fairly, clearly, and inclusively
• and even broke down real-game situations from previous tournaments

The atmosphere was collaborative and relaxed, with a strong focus on sharing experiences across clubs and countries. Coaches compared notes, got tips from FITEQ staff, and discussed how to make their training sessions more effective, not just technically, but also in terms of creating supportive team environments.

Because at the end of the day, EU TeqGames isn’t just about who wins – it’s about how we grow as players, coaches, and teammates.
